The Chai Spa Day

The Chai Spa Day

Chai is the Hebrew word for life, and Chai Cancer Care helps their clients who are living with the effects of a cancer diagnosis, to cope with life as they live through the cancer journey. It’s been a tremendous privilege to support Chai by developing the Chai Spa Day. The Spa Day is a Ladies day event to raise awareness about what Chai does and raise much needed funds so Chai can thrive. Working in partnership with Ruth Bray, we take over a large private house, empty it where necessary and turn it into a spa, bringing in 30 or more assorted therapists and celebrity guest speakers.

It’s not often that I am stuck for words but the English Vocabulary is not extensive enough to capture the love, inspiration, admiration and pure pride that was generated from the room today. For me, who knows the hurdles that you face when working in the charity sector, to put on such an event and get the whole day sponsored, working alone, is nothing short of unbelievably brilliant.
Gillian Golembo, sponsorship director, The Prince’s Trust.

It was an absolute pleasure to help you! I am so pleased that you raised so much money! Wow! We would be very happy to help out again in the future.
